SACS Basic
For: New SACS users
Model a fixed offshore platform, load it, run a static in-place analysis and report the results.
What you cover:
- SACS system overview, modules and project set-up
- Modelling in Precede and the Structural Wizard: members, piles, conductors and plate groups
- Joint connection design, beam offsets and code check properties
- Dead, applied and Weight-feature loads, including equipment footprints
- Wind, wave, current, buoyancy and marine growth
- Load combinations, boundary conditions and static in-place analysis
- Joint can checks, unity checks in PostVue, redesign and reporting
SACS Intermediate
For: Engineers who also need foundations, lifts, transport and fatigue
Add the foundation, lift, transport and fatigue analyses a real offshore project needs.
Everything in Basic, plus:
- Soil and pile analysis with PSI, and superelements
- Jacket lift analysis: centre-of-gravity shift and sling forces
- Load-out sequence and gap elements
- Tow analysis with inertial acceleration loads, single and two-stage
- Dynamic analysis: mass modelling, added mass and entrapped fluid
- Deterministic and spectral fatigue: wave scatter, SCF and S-N curves
SACS Advanced
For: Engineers working on fatigue, collapse and reassessment
Take on fatigue in depth, accidental loads, pushover and the reassessment of existing structures.
Focused on:
- Fatigue theory, codes, and tubular and non-tubular connections
- Spectral fatigue: mode shapes, transfer functions, mass approaches and superelements
- Transportation fatigue and RAOs
- Blast and dropped object analysis
- Spectral wind fatigue with the Harris force spectrum
- Full plastic collapse and pushover, with joint flexibility
- Reassessment of existing offshore structures
Five intensive days, with a SACS licence to keep practising
Our classroom programme is instructor-led and built for structural and offshore engineers who want practical, real-world SACS skills, with hands-on exercises throughout.
Each batch includes a one-month SACS licence, so you can keep working on what you learned after the course.

What engineers ask us about SACS training
Which SACS level should I take?
Basic if you are new to SACS. Intermediate if you also need PSI, lift, load-out, tow and fatigue; it covers everything in Basic as well. Advanced for fatigue in depth, blast and dropped objects, pushover and the reassessment of existing structures.
How long is each SACS course?
Basic is 3 days. Intermediate and Advanced are 5 days each. Our classroom batches run 8 hours a day.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a certificate from Aryatech and Bentley when you complete the course. You can view a sample before you register.
Is the SACS software included?
Yes. Every trainee gets SACS access and training material, and our classroom batches include a one-month SACS licence.
